The medium heavy plate application with Weldclad welding technology

  For the medium heavy plate mill, the run in table and run out table rollers, the working rollers and back up rollers for hot straightening machine, the work and back up rollers for the cold straightening machine, back up roller journal for mill are the metallurgical parts with large consumption and the large production tools. And the working environment for those rollers are in high temperature wear, thermal fatigue, and pick up wear. So the rollers have severe wear, and meanwhile, the roller facing has pick up and causes the steel swelling, and also the Fe &P , oxide damaged the roller facing, so all these will have very bad impact in the quality of the medium heavy plates.
  However, the rollers clad by Weldclad alloy have much longer life and the performance of roller facing has been improved greatly. The life can be prolonged up to 6 times, so this reduced the consumption of rollers and reduced the steel manufacturing cost and maintenance cost. The total economic benefits are great.
